About me

Born and raised in the rural surroundings of Zurich, I have always had a great passion for Swiss landscapes and culture, especially for the mountains and rural life. Thus, I studied Geography and Environmental Science. This was followed by an exciting 25 years of working for the environmental protection agency of the Canton Zurich, as well as being a mother of two children.

My travels to foreign countries and encounters with people from different cultures, made me realise even more the manifold particularities of Switzerland, and I have found great pleasure in showing my home country to foreign guests. Moreover, I realized the value of having a personal local guide and interpreter as a between of cultures; someone who brings you to these remote places, lets you immerse in local life, tells you the stories and makes sure you taste the authentic local food.

Lucky you, if you happen to know a native friend - if you don't, a passionate professional local tour guide can step in! It is my strong desire to be this guide and help you experience the true essence of Switzerland.
